About Us
Coloradowestoutdoors.com was created to give personal opinions on various hiking trails, fishing, outings and camping in western Colorado and eastern Utah.
I've lived in Western Colorado all my life and grew up wandering the countrysides of this great area. I took a hiatus from the outdoors for a few years and have recently gotten back in touch with nature and the great outdoors. I have taken the opportunity over the past few years to explore and re-connect with areas I grew up exploring as well as many places I have just recently discovered. I am constantly impressed with the hidden beauties of this area.
As I continue to explore these marvelous places I will continuously update each area with my own descriptions and thoughts. Keep in mind that each description is my own opinion and you may have a totally different outlook. I do try to err on the cautious side when it comes to places that can expose you to danger. As far as the difficulty goes, I try to be conservative, I don't do any really technical trails that require climbing or perilous routes.
